  • Single-wall corrugated pipe — used mainly for cable protection and flexible ducting. Lighter and more compressible, so grip pressure is the primary variable to control.
  • Double-wall corrugated (DWC) pipe — a corrugated outer wall bonded to a smooth inner wall, used for underground drainage and sewerage. The hollow section between walls is what delivers ring stiffness, and it is also what collapses under excess clamping force.
